Thames Gateway Bridge Inquiry - Pre-Inquiry MeetingThe purpose of a Pre-Inquiry Meeting (PIM) is to help the Inspector and all parties concerned with the Public Inquiry to prepare for the Inquiry itself, so as to enable the proceedings to be conducted as efficiently and speedily as possible. No discussion of the merits or otherwise of the proposals is permitted at a PIM. It is not the function of a PIM to consider matters, including evidence, which should appropriately be discussed at the Public Inquiry. A pre Inquiry meeting for the Thames Gateway Bridge Public Inquiry took place on Monday 4 April 2005 at 1pm at Charlton Athletic Football Club, The Valley, Floyd Road, Charlton, London, SE7 8BL. A copy of the Agenda for this Pre Inquiry Meeting may be viewed here. A copy of the Note from the Pre Inquiry Meeting (including Appendix A and B) may be viewed here. Following the Pre Inquiry Meeting, the Inspector decided to hold a further Procedural Meeting. This was held at 10.30am on Thursday 28th April 2005 at The London Borough of Greenwich, Town Hall, Wellington Street, Woolwich, London, SE18 6PW.
