On Friday 21st April 2006, the Programme Officer announced the Deadline for Submission of Outstanding Material to the Thames Gateway Bridge Public Inquiry. 31 January 2006: Phase 4 Evening Session Announced On Tuesday 31st January 2006, the Programme Officer confirmed the dates for the Phase 4 evening session of the Public Inquiry which is to be held in Bexley. The detail is as follows:-

10 January 2006 An Outline Programme for Phase 4 has been issued and can be viewed here. 23 December 2005: Timetable and Key Dates At the Inquiry Session held on Day 57, the
timetable and programme for the next phase of the Inquiry was
discussed. The Inspectors have agreed the following key dates:- - Friday 17 February 2006 - noon: Supplementary Evidence to be submitted by the London Borough of Bexley - Tuesday 21 February 2006 - 10AM: The Public Inquiry Re-opens at Charlton Athletic FC, Floyd Road, SE7 8BL - Friday 3 March 2006 - noon: Supplementary Evidence to be submitted from all remaining parties (excluding Action Group Against the Bridge and St. Michael Residents Association) - Tuesday 7 March 2006 - 10AM: The Case for London Borough of Bexley continues - matters relating to TfL's Supplementary Evidence - Friday 24 March 2006 - noon: Supplementary Evidence to be submitted by Action Group Against the Bridge and St. Michael's Residents Association - Friday 31 March 2006: Non Sitting Day - Tuesday 11 April 2006 to Thursday 13 April 2006: Non Sitting Days The Inspector agreed that there should be a further evening session of the Inquiry to be held in Bexley. A date and venue will be announced in due course. A detailed outline programme will appear on the website in the New Year. 15 November 2005: Letter on New Evidence Issued The Programme Officer has issued a letter to all Inquiry Participants which explains the details of the new evidence to be submitted by Tfl and the Possible Implications for Evidence at the Inquiry. A copy of that letter can be viewed here. 8 November 2005: Inquiry Reconvened for Phase 3 On Tuesday 8 November 2005, the Inquiry into the Thames Gateway Bridge reconvened for Phase 3. To view a copy of the Provisional Draft Outline Programme for Phase 2 please click here. 30 August 2005: Phase 2 Proofs of Evidence received A substantial number of Proofs of Evidence have now been received from those parties who intend to appear during Phase 2 of the Inquiry starting on Tuesday 13 September. Copies of the Proofs received can be viewed here. 1 August 2005: Inquiry Library Access During the Summer recess The full Inquiry Library has remained at Charlton Athletic FC but has been relocated to what was 'The Objectors Room' and is available for viewing between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. To gain authorisation for access to the library please check at the front reception desk. We would kindly ask you to sign the visitor's sheet in the library room (located on the 1st cabinet on the left) and also not to remove any documents. In addition a set of TfL Core Documents is
available for viewing between the hours of 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 4.30pm
Monday to Friday at the following location. 27 July 2005: Inquiry Adjourned The Public Inquiry has now adjourned for a summer recess. The next inquiry sitting day will be on Tuesday 13 September. Between now and then the Public Inquiry Library will be available for Inspection (by prior arrangement with the Programme Officer) at Charlton Athletic Football Club, Floyd Road, Charlton. The Inquiry website will be kept up to date with copies of any documents submitted during recess. 26 July 2005: Evening Sessions Announced On Tuesday 26 July 2005, the Programme Officer confirmed the dates for the two evening sessions of the Public Inquiry which are to be held in Bexley. Phase 2 will commence on Tuesday 13 September - see Outline Programme. They also confirmed that evening sessions in Newham and Bexley will be organised and the dates announced in due course. One session of the Inquiry (week 16: 29 Nov - 2 Dec) will be held at Woolwich Town Hall. 9 June 2005: Programme Officer Issued List of Intended Appearances On Thursday 9 June 2005 the Programme Officer issued a list of all those who intend to appear at the Public Inquiry. Tuesday 7 June 2005. 31 May 2005: Proofs of Evidence Now Received Proofs of Evidence have now been received from London Borough's of Greenwich, Bexley and Redbridge and can be viewed here. Proofs of Evidence have also been received from London Borough of Newham;Thames Gateway London Partnership; London First; London Development Agency and London City Airport (currently these are not available electronically). 17 May 2005: Decision issued concerning request for postponement The Programme Officer has issued a letter
which contains details of the Decision of the First Secretary of State and
Secretary of State for Transport regarding the request for a postponement. 10 May 2005: TfL Published Statement of Common Ground On 10 May 2005, TfL published the "Statement
of Common Ground" to the Government Office of the North
East/Department for Transport. 10 May 2005: TfL Issued Proofs of Evidence of Principal Witnesses On 10 May 2005, TfL issued the Proofs of Evidence
and Summaries of all its principal witnesses. 5 May 2005: Procedural Meeting Notes Issued On 5 May 2005, the Programme Officer issued a copy
of the Inspector's Notes of the meeting held on Thursday 28 April 2005. 13 April 2005: Further Procedural Meeting and Change of Inspectors Announced On 13 April 2005, the Programme Officer issued a
letter explaining that a further procedural meeting would be held at
10.30am on Thursday 28th April 2005, at The London Borough of Greenwich,
Town Hall, Wellington Street, Woolwich, London, SE18 6PW. In
addition, the letter explained that the Lead Inspector would now be Mr.
Michael Ellison assisted by Mr. John Watson. 1pm at the Inquiry Venue. 24 March 2005: Inquiry Notice Published On 24 March 2005, the Inquiry Notice was published. To view a copy of the notice please click here. 7 March 2005: PIM Agenda Issued On 7 March 2005, Mr. Graham Groom, issued a letter to all parties introducing himself as the Programme Officer for this Inquiry. The letter enclosed a copy of the Agenda for the Pre Inquiry Meeting which is to be held at 1pm on Monday 4 April 2005 at Charlton Athletic Football Club, The Valley, Floyd Road, Charlton, London, SE7 8BL. The letter also enclosed a copy of the Attendance Questionnaire which must be filled in and returned to the Programme Officer as soon as possible.
