The Mottram/Tintwistle Bypass and Glossop Spur Public Inquiry - Pre-Inquiry Meeting

The purpose of a Pre-Inquiry Meeting (PIM) is to help the Inspector and all parties concerned with the Public Inquiry to prepare for the Inquiry itself. No discussion of the merits or otherwise of the proposals is permitted at a PIM.  It is not the function of a PIM to consider matters, including evidence, which should appropriately be discussed at the Public Inquiry. Nor is a Pre-Inquiry Meeting able to review decisions previously made by the Secretary of State for Transport or the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.

The Pre-Inquiry Meeting was held on 1st May 2007 at 10.00am at Stalybridge Civic Hall, Trinity Street, Stalybridge, Tameside, SK15 2BN.
