The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry announced
on 27 July 2006 that a joint Public Inquiry was to be held
into two windfarm applications:-
-
by Renewable
Energy System Limited for consent to construct and operate an 85 MW wind
turbine generating station at Keadby in North Lincolnshire (and lying
to the east of Crowle, North Lincolnshire), and
-
by E.ON UK
Renewables Limited for consent to construct and operate a 66 MW wind
turbine generating station at Tween Bridge at Thorne, Doncaster, South
Yorkshire (and lying to the west of Crowle, North Lincolnshire).

Mr Keith Smith BA(Econ), DipTP, DPA, FRTPI, ACIS was appointed as the Inspector to
conduct the Public Inquiry, which opened at 10.30am on Tuesday
9 January 2007 in the Vikings Hotel,
Western Road, Goole, DN14 6RG.
A Pre-Inquiry Meeting (PIM) was held on Monday 25 September 2006 at the Vikings Hotel, Western
Road, Goole, DN14 6RG. A copy of the Agenda may be viewed from the
