To read the Inspector's Report on the CPO, click here. 31 July 2008Planning Decision announced today. The Communities Secretary has rejected the Council backed scheme for a 12,500 seat arena. Although the Communities Secretary sees “merit” in an arena helping regeneration, she agrees with the Inquiry Inspector that there were severe doubts about its viability and has accepted the Inspector's arguments for rejection based on grounds of traffic congestion on the surrounding roads.
