There is to be a Public Inquiry into the Highways Agency's proposals to construct a new road to the north of Dunstable between the existing A5 Trunk Road (just north of its junction with the A505) and the M1 Motorway at a new Junction 11A (to the south of the existing Toddington Motorway Services Area).

A Pre-Inquiry Meeting
to plan and discuss procedural and timetable matters for the Inquiry (Intention
to Hold a Pre-Inquiry Meeting [9 KB]) will
be held on Tuesday 4th May 2010 at Superdrug Stores Plc, Distribution Centre, Unit 1, ProLogis Park, Arenson Way, Dunstable, LU5 4RZ, starting at 11am.

The Inquiry itself will begin on Tuesday 29th June 2010 at the same venue.
