The Secretary of State for Transport has published proposals for the A453 Widening (M1 Junction 24 to A52 Trunk Road Nottingham) scheme. They are contained within the draft orders published in January 2009 under the Highways Act 1980 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981. This website contains details of the Public Inquiry which is to be held in connection with objections received to the draft order.
