Purpose of Inquiry:

The Public Inquiry  heard objections and representations concerning the Proposed Transport and Works Act Orders. This order would provide for:

• Modifications to stations and structures on the DLR route between Poplar and Stratford and Becton to enable the use of three-car trains; modifications to the track layout at some stations and improvements to a major junction.

• Application is also made for the insertion of a concrete / steel pile in proximity to the Banana Dock wall in connection with the construction of a proposed railway diversion on a viaduct above the Banana Dock wall. This dock wall is a Grad I listed Building
